13.02.2004 MTU-Inform has optimized its customer service functions

The system was developed and implemented by specialists of InterTrust Company, with which MTU-Inform has been collaborating successfully since 1999.

MTU-Inform was faced with the need to optimize its document flow system as a result of an increase in its client base and expansion of its range of services. In addition, the company had the task of formalizing the times for providing services to clients. The CompanyMedia electronic document flow system and its kernel ActiveFrame were used as the basis for the system. The overall cost of the project was more than $50 000.

The system had a noticeable effect even during test operations. By the time the project was completed, the application processing system allowed full coordination of business processes in the area of client relations: control of the list of users processing applications and registration of correspondence both within the company and with outside organizations along the entire document propagation path. As a result of implementing the system, processing times for communications services applications have been reduced to one day.

"Given the broad range of services provided and, in particular, due to the large number of clients being serviced, we needed an advanced system for registering and controlling the transmission of applications," said Aleksandr Shambazov, manager of new information technologies at MTU-Inform. "In our view, this kind of in-house restructuring and regular innovations are a mandatory requirement for effective business development in a dynamic market. Implementing this project has given us a significant competitive advantage by allowing us to respond to client applications with maximum efficiency."

Development plans for the system include integrating the operations of MTU-Inform?s sales department and billing system. Long-term plans include integration of IS Zayavka with the American network design system.
