01.10.2003 "MTU-Inform" starts a series of marketing programs on "MAXI-CARD" promotion

"MTU-Inform" company announces a series of actions on a phone "MAXIcard" promotion.

The first action will take place in Moscow from October, 1st till 31, 2003. Multifunctional vehicle filling complexes BP were chosen as action sites, on which specially conditioned phone racks will be mounted to demonstrate "MAXIcard" features and functions. In particular, BP attendees will be able to make free calls to any part of the world, obtain detailed information on product features. There will be organized an instantaneous all-prize lottery for all those purchasing "MAXIcard" of any value - buying the card a customer gets a prize card, indicating the prize.

"At the moment, the first stage of card product promotion is completed, retail sales network is being formed", says "MAXIcard" project manager, Igor Blinkov. "Promoting "MAXIcard" we put a special emphasis on promotion, since standard advertising technologies are less effective at this stage. At present, our main task is to produce interest to the trademark, initiating first purchases. The very framework of such actions allows us to inform our would-be customers of product features fully and efficiently. Besides, we are planning to draw attention not only of active card products' customers, but also, which is the most important - of those, who have never used this product before. According to our estimates, at the beginning of 2004 the sales volume of "MAXIcard" will amount to 500,000 USD a month".

"MAXIcard" is a product of strategic importance, being such not only for us, the developers. This is essentially the first product for mass user on the Russian market. This product provides a number of services, available earlier only to corporate customers, says MTU-Inform director general, Said Alimbekov.

The service is implemented on the basis of an intellectual network of "MTU-Inform" company and differs from similar card products in a higher communication quality, compared to other services, taking use of IP-telephony technology. "MAXIcard" uniqueness also lies in an extended range of additional features, the main of which is service accessibility via the Internet. The issued cards are of 5, 10, and 25 USD value.
