MTU-Inform announces the commencement of the dealer network construction program intended to promote the Logic Line service package. This is the first attempt to create a true multi-level mechanism for selling a high-technology telecommunication solution on the corporate users market. The launch of the program is planned in June, 2002.
Logic Line is the service package developed by MTU-Inform on the base of its intelligent network. Essentially, the package provides a customer with a virtual telephone number that is supported by the intelligent platform. Using this number, subscribers of the service may set up reception and management of any number of phone calls without the need to purchase extra communication lines or additional equipment. A main package module intended for selling through the dealer network is the Logic Line Office.
At present about 5% of Logic Line Office service package sales are committed to partners. This figure is expected to double once the program is implemented.
"We were the first company in Russia to improve intelligent telephony services," says Dmitry Dronov, MTU-Inform marketing director. "The days when customers were being suspicious about the capabilities of the telephony have already gone. Logic Line becomes a mass consumption service. This proves that the market of such services has formed and that it may be activated by multi-level selling mechanisms. The Logic Line service package has been continuously improving since it first appeared on the market. Each module was developed with due regard to the needs of specific target customer category. Now we have a ready-made product fit to be sold via the dealer network."
A dealer is responsible for finding end-users of Logic Line services as well as for signing the contracts with them on behalf of the MTU-Inform. The fees depend on the results of a dealer's work and consist of one-time commission and the interests in periodical customer payments during the first year of subscription. The program provides for equal selling conditions of Logic Line when the package is sold via the dealer network and when it is sold at the Company's office. The accounting control between MTU-Inform and a dealer utilizes the access to cumulative statistical information about the service obtained by participated customers.
