MTU-Inform, MoscowÕs leading commercial telephone operator, has signed an agreement with the tovarishestvom sobstvennikov zhilya (TSZh) "on Yugo-Zapadye" to provide network services in eight apartment complexes located on Anokhina street in the south-western side of the capital. The agreement was signed according to the results of tender, in which several Moscow telecommunications companies participated.

MTU-Inform will provide TSZh "on Yugo-Zapadye" with more than 1000 telephone numbers with the purpose of taking care of future apartment ownersÕ digital telephone network services. Along with this, a series of projects concerning the laying of the cable infrastructure and the organization of high-speed constant connection of the apartments to the Internet will be provided. Afterwards, it will be possible to offer high-quality cable television services and interactive multi-media services.

The signing of the agreement with TSZh "on Yugo-Zapadye" is the continuation of MTU-InformÕs strategic course in the direction of strengthening its presence in the private user market. MTU-Inform already works with such companies as DON-Stroi, ZhSK Alpha, ZAO Tema, and NPP Tema, who are all construction companies that build apartment complexes in Moscow.

"With the rise in demand of modern network services in society, the share of operator income coming from the private sector will steadily rise," emphasized the general director of MTU-Inform, Said Alimbekov. "We are taking measures to refigure the technology of our transport network with the aim of readying it for the growth in the number of users and the introduction of new services."
