Moscow's largest Internet provider MTU-Intel, a part of the MTU-Inform group, announced their next expansion of their modem pool and the opening of a new access server 3Com Total Control HiPer Access System, calculated to support 420 connecting lines. This is 3ComÕs second free-access server using the network provider.
The free-access server Total Control HiPer Access System provides support to the advanced functions of call processing. Total Control HiPer Access is the platform of the new generation. It offers the possibility of attaining the highest port-density value for analog calls, calls on the ISDN channel, and voice connections. At the same time all the information and services are moved to the edges of the network, where they are more accessible to the user.
"MTU-IntelÕs Total Control HiPer Access System is an effective and reliable solution for the provision of dial-up access to the Internet and, besides this, offers the provider the possibility of expanding the spectrum of ordered services," asserts Sergei Monchenko, the Manager of the technology department of 3Com SNG.
