In June, 2002, MTU-Inform completed the connection of the Camelot residential project on Komsomolsky Prospect #30-30A to its telephone network. Camelot was the 26th residential project that MTU-Inform equipped with telephone services. Residents may enjoy digital telephone services as well as constant high-speed Internet access. An extended range of telephony services, including speed-dialing, call-forwarding, conference calls, call waiting, reminder services, etc. was made possible by the installation of the most up-to-date NEC 100 telephone station. Implementation required allocation of 400 phone numbers. MTU-Inform also managed installation of the fiber-optic line from the nearest MTU-Inform node to the Camelot site and installed a modern distributive network within the complex that used a twisted pair for signal transmission. This solution compensated for data transmission interference and increased connection speed through multi-user channels. To provide high-speed constant Internet access, the company used HomePNA technology, which allows speeds up to 10 Mbps.
