Alpha Building Association

In March, 2001, MTU-Inform signed a contract with the Alpha Building Association to supply communication services to Potapovo Village, for which Alpha is the main builder. The high-end cottage subdivision is located in South Butovo, Moscow, and has more than 1500 cottages.

The contract with Alpha includes not only installation of telephones, but also construction of a cable TV network and provision of high-speed Internet access via coaxial-cable network. The digital telephone network uses broadband cable access channels to ensure high-quality communications to any point on the globe and to facilitate a range of additional services, including call-forwarding, conference calls, call waiting, etc. Moreover, residents will be able to watch all channels broadcast by Ostankino and a large number of foreign TV channels. The Company has deployed fiber-optic lines and coaxial cables, installed the automatic telephone exchange and the head TV station, and constructed the distribution network within the subdivision.
