Don-Stroy
Commercial telephone service provider MTU-Inform has worked with the
Don-Stroy construction company for more than year and a half. During this time MTU-Inform has provided
telephone service and Internet access for more than ten residential projects and their associated infrastructure.
In order to equip residential projects with up-to-date communication services, MTU-Inform set up a fiber-optic backbone which connects the central site at the project and the nearest multiplexer of the SDH network carrier ring using equipment from leading manufacturers. The telephone stations installed in residential buildings allow integration of heterogeneous traffic from access multiplexers. Residents may enjoy
optional telephone services, including a universal mailbox, conference calls, smart call routing, reminder service, etc. Also, MTU-Inform monitors all of the building's telecommunication networks, including subscriber modems, access equipment, active nodes of the structured cable networks, and video monitoring and signaling systems.
To provide
high-speed Internet access, MTU-Inform utilizes HomePNA technology, which allows a local network to be constructed on the basis of existing telephone wiring. Using HomePNA drastically reduces costs and the time needed to implement telecommunications in a residential building.
Depending on builder's plan, MTU-Inform may supply residential buildings with
cable TV. Thus, tenants may watch all 12 of Ostankino's broadcast TV channels and a package of 50 digital foreign channels.
